Katie Hinds Katie Hinds

Legal Partner

Born and raised in Forsyth County, Katie (Fulk) Hinds graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Public Policy Analysis and returned to the area to attend law school at Wake Forest School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor in 2008.

During law school, Katie took every opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience, participating in the Elder Law Clinic, representing elderly and indigent clients in a variety of legal matters. She also gained experience at the Litigation Clinic, working with local firms as well as at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. It was during her time with the Litigation Clinic that Katie successfully represented her first criminal defendant, securing an acquittal in Forsyth County District Court for a client wrongfully charged with a crime.

One of the most significant aspects of an attorney's job is to communicate for clients when they cannot on their own, often because they lack knowledge of the legal system and its processes. Because of this, Katie is dedicated to providing comprehensive guidance and representation for clients.

Professionally, Katie takes on a wide variety of cases. She thrives in a fluctuating work environment and enjoys going into work and doing something new and different every day.

Outside the office, Katie is often spending time with her husband, Donny, or in the kitchen baking. She is also a prolific reader and takes incredible joy in leading a Bible Fellowship class and women's Bible study at Calvary Baptist Church. She also is the assistant coach for the high school Mock Trial team at Calvary Day School.
